Kitchen Civils were awarded the Service Diversion works on the Beverley South Project in September 2019. There were two diversions required, The HV Diversion was required to facilitate the building of the 1000 plot Beverley South Development. The Water Diversion connected to existing infrastructure West of the roundabout and was required to be connected at Spark Mill Lane, approximately 1km of diversion.

Scope of Works

• Stakeholder Engagement with Linden, Strata, Yorkshire Water, Morrison Utilities, Northern Powergrid and Excelon.
• Over 1km of 6 duct HV Diversion, tied, sanded, warning boarded and backfilled in line with Northern Powergrid specifications.
• Over 1km of Water Ducting, laid in line with Yorkshire Water specifications.
• Excavation of jointing pits at both ends for both Water and Electric.
• Ducting and reinstatement of two live carriageways.
