Kitchen Civils were awarded the 278, Attenuation, Pumping Station and Roads & Sewers Package for the works at Castle Road in July 2018. The works where to enable the building of 180 new plots off Castle Hill Road in Cottingham. Due to our positive performance on the scheme, we were later awarded the Stage 2 finishing works on the scheme.

- Widening of the existing carriageway, whilst keeping traffic live – including traffic management, lining, surfacing and tie ins
- Engagement with local authorities and emergency services due to being a ‘red route’ to Castle Hill Hospital.
- Installation of streetlighting and a 3m combined footway/cycleway
- Construction of 920m of site carriageway
- 105m of 1800 diameter drainage
- 2,300m of smaller diameter drainage
- Foul water connection to existing Yorkshire Water Infrastructure
- 730m3 Carlow Attenuation Tank
- SUDS Basin
- Planing, Surfacing and Tie In’s to existing infrastructure
- Ducting and Service Trenches
- Surface Water Pumping Station
- Culverting of existing watercourses
